R. Andrew Jamison, MD, FAAD
Dr. Richard "Andrew" Jamison is a highly-acclaimed dermatologist who joined Carolina Dermatology in 2013. His passion for dermatology stems from a deep appreciation of the intricate interplay between skin health and overall well-being. Dr. Jamison finds immense satisfaction in long-term relationships with patients while diagnosing and treating all types of skin conditions.
In terms of medicine, Dr. Jamison adheres to a patient-centered philosophy. He believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. His clinical interests span a wide range, including skin cancer detection, acne management, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions. Dr. Jamison combines evidence-based practices with personalized care.
On a personal note, Dr. Jamison and his wife have four children which keep them quite busy. Beyond medicine, Dr. Jamison enjoys being active in his community and has volunteered at the Taylor's Free Medical Clinic since moving to the upstate in 2013. He and his wife host weekly Bible studies for the USC-Greenville medical students and take regular international medical trips.
